Oriental Romance --Fang Sheng

This painting is called "Fang Sheng". Fang Sheng is a traditional pattern in my country, which is represented by two squares overlapping each other. It should be a kind of concentric knot, symbolizing love💏, so the theme of this painting is actually "love" .
The whole picture actually shows a scene of celebrating beautiful love. The main body of the picture is a "Fangsheng Pavilion", which is a rare pavilion shape in ancient China. The plane is two square pavilions connected together (actually one pavilion). I imagined the two pairs of lovers in the pavilion to be the "West Wing" and the "Butterfly Lovers" . A circle of immortals are playing music around to celebrate, which is actually a hidden poem: "Hey, the deer roars, and the apples in the wild are eaten; I have guests, drums, harps and shengs." The lower left corner of the picture is "se". The whole thing also means blessings to the couple.
